Hi, my name is Erin, and I'm bad at taking breaks. Notoriously bad at it. I am anything but a role model for self-care, no matter how many posts I write about it, trying to convince myself otherwise. Exhibit 1: I am about to write a blog post about how I'm giving myself a break … Continue reading Make Creative Space: Shifting Gears to Slow My Roll

Big Publishing News and 2022 Writing Goals

January 10, 2022January 8, 2022 ~ Erin Fulmer ~ 6 Comments

The first week of January has been more eventful than expected! Because of that, this week's blog is a news and notes post. I will also share my 2022 writing goals, as I didn't want to get too specific last week before Cambion Book 2 was officially announced. Now that the Publisher's Marketplace announcement is … Continue reading Big Publishing News and 2022 Writing Goals

Making space for rest & healing when you have absolutely zero chill: the Erin Fulmer story.
What is a pitch event if not an excuse to make a new matching set of aesthetics?
For today's blog post, I interviewed @shoshanarain about her upcoming indie debut, STRIFE'S APPLE, and got her take on why hybrid publishing careers are becoming more popular among full-time authors. She also shared her thoughts on anti-heroines in romance, learning the ropes of self-pub, and writing from a Jewish perspective in a Xtian world.
Thank you so much for this sweet surprise in my mentions, Dani! Ah, Ariel…definitely the bad boy we love to hate…but so very beautiful and you captured him perfectly!
There's not much time left to get Cambion's Law while it's still on sale for $0.99! 🔥
This week on the blog, for my occasional "How Tho?!" feature, I interviewed @sjwhitbywrites on self-publishing, speed-writing a sprawling series, & the message of the Cute Mutants:
